WWE Superstars Titus O'Neil, Apollo, Dana Brooke and Carmella, NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno, and NXT announcer Dasha Fuentes hosted a Be a STAR rally during WrestleMania Week in New Orleans. Actor Christian Navarro joined the rally with kids from NFL-YET Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana.
The mission of the Be a STAR (Show Tolerance And Respect) program is to encourage young people to treat each other with respect through education and grassroots initiatives. Be a STAR promotes positive methods of social interaction and encourages people to treat others as equals. Since 2011, Be a STAR bullying prevention rallies, resources and programs have reached more than 300,000 children globally.
In 2016, WWE and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America announced a multi-year, national partnership to support the Be a STAR bullying prevention program and help create a safe after-school environment for today’s youth.
