Titus O'Neil was presented with the Hosea Williams Award by the NAACP, Hillsborough County Branch, in Tampa, Fla., on Thursday, Feb. 8.
Rev. Hosea Williams was well-known in the civil rights movement and was a trusted member of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s inner circle. He is noted for founding the Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, one of the largest social services organizations on this continent. The Hosea Williams Award honors the person whose spirit equals the contributions he made to mankind.
Two-time WWE Champion Batista and O'Neil's sons were on hand to honor the charitable WWE Superstar during Black History Month.
