WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon joined Sin Cara, Alicia Fox, actress Cassie Scerbo and dignitaries at a Be a STAR rally during SummerSlam Week 2014 in East Los Angeles. McMahon meets "Sharknado" actress and S.T.A.R. Alliance member Cassie Scerbo before the rally. Anna Araujo, Chief Professional Officer of the Boys & Girls Club, talks to McMahon before the event. Sin Cara is greeted with cheers by the kids at the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles. Congresswoman Linda Sanchez stresses the importance of the Be a STAR Alliance’s message. The Boys & Girls Club of East LA was a recipient in the Be a STAR Grant program. Alicia Fox talks to the kids about the different types of bullying and how to stop it. Sin Cara speaks to the predominantly Latino crowd by alternating in both English and Spanish to relate to the bilingual attendees. McMahon encourages the kids to continue to take a stand against bullying. More than 300 students from age 5 through teenagers attend the rally. McMahon presents award certificates to two individuals who made extraordinary contributions to extinguish bullying in their community. The honorees pose with McMahon, Congresswoman Sanchez and CEO of The Creative Coalition, Robin Bronk. The kids are led in the "Don't be a bully, Be a STAR!" chant. The kids also presented their own awards to the Be a STAR rally panelists! Alicia leaves her mark with a special message after the rally. "To be able to make a difference in just one child’s life makes it all worth it.," McMahon says.
