Bayley, Kalisto, Apollo Crews, Nia Jax, Charly Caruso and WWE Ambassador Dana Warrior hosted a Be a STAR rally at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx, N.Y., during SummerSlam Week. Nearly 200 Boys & Girls Clubs members took part in the rally where they learned about the importance of showing tolerance and respect.
The Superstars presented a certificate to Daniel Quintero, Executive Director of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, for his club's continued commitment to bullying prevention. They also awarded Be a STAR Certificates of Recognition to students Margaret Rodriguez, Elias Alvarez and Lucas Hernandez for being leaders, showing respect and being STARS in their club.
WWE and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have partnered to support bullying prevention efforts in local clubs across the U.S. Be a STAR’s bullying prevention program encourages people to treat others as equals and with respect because everyone is a STAR in their own right. Since 2011, Be a STAR’s anti-bullying rallies, resources and programs have reached more than 300,000 children globally.
