The New Day's Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E, Ms. Money in the Bank and future SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella, and WWE Ambassador Dana Warrior joined First Book and "Trombone Shorty" Troy Andrews for a WrestleMania Reading Celebration in the New Orleans area during WrestleMania Week.
To celebrate the winners of the WrestleMania Reading Challenge in New Orleans, the Superstars led the Reading Celebration for Grand Prize-winning teacher Stacey Meehan’s first-grade students at J.C. Ellis Elementary School in Metairie, La. The students also enjoyed a performance by "Trombone Shorty" himself, Andrews.
Approximately 45 students listened as the Superstars and Andrews read "Trombone Shorty," a book about the musician who grew up in New Orleans. WWE donated 1,000 books to J.C. Ellis Elementary School, and each student took home their own copy of "Trombone Shorty."
