WWE Community partnered with Hey Stamford! Food Festival at Mill River Park in Stamford, Conn., on Aug. 13 and 14 to raise funds and awareness for Connor’s Cure and pediatric cancer research. SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan and WWE Superstar Happy Corbin signed autographs for the WWE Universe, with all proceeds going directly to Connor’s Cure. WWE employee volunteers joined the Superstars at the event, along with celebrity chef Todd English and DJ Pauly D.
Connor’s Cure was created in 2014 by WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon and WWE Executive Vice President Paul “Triple H” Levesque in honor of 8-year-old WWE fan Connor Michalek, who battled medulloblastoma, a rare tumor that affects the brain and spinal cord. Connor’s Cure has raised more than $3.5 million and assisted more than 500 families around the world. Funds raised by WWE support Connor’s Cure through The V Foundation for Cancer Research’s grant-making process.
Stay tuned to WWE Community and all of WWE's social media platforms for more on Connor's Cure in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month this September.
