On behalf of WWE, WWE Superstar and Global Ambassador Titus O'Neil presented a check for $227,000 to the V Foundation, representing all of the funds raised by WWE for Connor’s Cure in 2021. O'Neil presented the check to V Foundation CEO Shane Jacobsen during a halftime celebration during the Jimmy V Classic NCAA men's basketball games at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Founded by Stephanie McMahon and Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Connor’s Cure is a fund at The V Foundation named in honor of 8-year-old WWE fan Connor Michalek, who passed away due to Medulloblastoma (a rare tumor that affects the brain and spinal cord) in 2014.
Since 2016, WWE and The V Foundation have partnered to support cancer research nationally through funds raised by Connor’s Cure.One hundred percent of all net funds raised through Connor’s Cure directly benefit pediatric cancer research through The V Foundation’s grant-making process.
