Susan G. Komen continues being “More Than Pink” by working to reach their Bold Goal to reduce breast cancer deaths by 50 percent by 2026 in the U.S. through action, community, research and care. For the second year, WWE will join Komen in their Breast Cancer is Unacceptable campaign during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, focusing on bold statistics associated with breast cancer — statistics that are unacceptable.
More than 42,000 people still die from breast cancer each year. Every two minutes, one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in a woman in the U.S. Nearly 270,000 men and women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. One in eight women will get breast cancer at some point in their lives. Susan G. Komen is committed to saving lives and they plan to do it by finding breakthroughs for breast cancers that kill and ensuring all people receive the care they need. Breast cancer is unacceptable.
