ANAHEIM, Calif. — Kaitlyn hit a career milestone only few Superstars and Divas achieve, granting her first individual wish with a WWE Circle of Champions honoree.
The former Divas Champion met Make-A-Wish’s Jeffrey, 16, before Raw this week. It’s the first time a Diva has been specifically requested since Kelly Kelly was nearly a year-and-a-half ago!
“It was an honor that someone had an opportunity to Make-A-Wish and they chose to meet me,” Kaitlyn told WWE.com. “Jeffrey was amazing.”
Kaitlyn said she had plenty in common with the teenager, his brothers and his parents. The family is from Florida, where she once lived. That quickly broke the ice with the easygoing Diva.
“We had a really good time. I forced all of them to do a Boys II Men family photo with me and I asked them if that could be their Christmas card,” she laughed. “So it was really an amazing experience.”
Even though she has a long way to go to achieve the more than 350 wishes John Cena has granted with Make-A-Wish, it’s a goal she wants to reach.
“I would love to do something like that, any opportunity I have,” Kaitlyn said. “I would love to do as many as these as I can and for as long as I can.
“Just the fact that this was my first one and it was someone’s wish to meet me — I can’t even describe how it made me feel. Hopefully Jeffrey had an amazing experience, too!”
