WWE would like to congratulate Sue Aitchison, WWE Director of Talent Relations, who has been chosen by Cauliflower Alley Club to receive the Jason Sanderson Humanitarian Award. She will be honored at the CAC Reunion in Las Vegas from April 11-13.
“I am humbled to be receiving this award from such a prestigious organization, who have included me with the many great past and former heroes of wrestling,” Aitchison told WWECommunity.com.
Aitchison, who began her tenure at WWE in 1987, helped begin WWE’s partnership with Make-A-Wish. She has helped facilitate thousands of wishes with Superstars and Divas throughout her 27 years at WWE – approximately 200 per year – including John Cena’s record-breaking 500-plus wishes.
Aitchison was a 2006 recipient of Make-A-Wish’s Chris Greicius Celebrity Award, which recognizes entertainment and sports personalities and organizations that exemplify the importance of wish-granting through Make-A-Wish. Other past WWE recipients of the Chris Greicius Award include Cena, Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson and Jesse Ventura.
The Cauliflower Alley Club is a non-profit fraternal organization, comprising both retired and active professional wrestlers and boxers in North America. For more on Aitchison’s honor at CAC, visit caulifloweralleyclub.org. For more on Make-A-Wish, visit wish.org.
