WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon arrived in Abu Dhabi for the Special Olympics 2019 World Games this week. To help kick off the games in the United Arab Emirates, Stephanie spoke at The Louvre (the Abu Dhabi stop of the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run), joined a media junket at the Jumeriah Hotel and visited the Mother of Nations Festival where she was given a tour and gifted an abaya by local social media influencer Dr. Sara Al-Madani.
WWE is a silver-level sponsor of the games which will showcase the power of the human spirit and highlight the abilities of athletes with intellectual disabilities. The 2019 World Games will be the largest humanitarian event ever held in the Middle East and is set to welcome more than 7,500 athletes representing 176 nations competing in 24 Olympic-style sports with the support of 3,000 coaches, 20,000 volunteers and as many as 500,000 spectators.
