Mandy Rose, Tye Dillinger, Sin Cara, Shelton Benjamin and WWE announcer Dasha Fuentes hosted a Be a STAR rally at Ira Samelson Jr. Boys & Girls Club in Memphis, Tenn., with 200 6- to 13-year-olds.
Along with Lucy Rosenbloom, Volunteer & Community Outreach Coordinator at Ira Samelson Jr. Boys & Girls Club, the WWE Superstars presented awards to Malik Mathes, Terrion Gills and Miracle Diggs for being leaders, showing respect and being STARS in their club.
WWE and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America have partnered to support bullying prevention efforts in local clubs across the U.S. Be a STAR’s (Show Tolerance And Respect) bullying prevention program, which encourages people to treat others as equals and with respect because everyone is a star in their own right. Since 2011, Be a STAR’s anti-bullying rallies, resources and programs have reached more than 300,000 children globally.
