Mick Foley is being lauded for his charity work in AARP.org’s “My Generation” feature. The Hardcore Legend has been a longtime supporter of the Rape Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.
The best-selling author (MORE ON FOLEY’S NEW BOOK) has long been involved in humanitarian endeavors, visiting U.S. Troops overseas and helping to start schools in Sierra Leone, the Philippines and Mexico – to name a few.
Now, as a stand-up comedian, Foley is giving proceeds from his performances to RAINN. He spends his free time personally counseling survivors of sexual violence and abuse. He’s also auctioned off WWE memorabilia and donated the profits to the charity.
