Boys & Girls Club of Stamford appoints WWE Senior Vice President Jayar Donlan to Board of Directors

STAMFORD, Conn. — The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford (BGCS) has appointed Jayar Donlan to the Club’s Board of Directors. Donlan is WWE Senior Vice President of Digital & Social Content, where he leads the development and implementation of WWE’s digital and social strategies across its global media platforms. Donlan will bring his social media and digital expertise to the Club, where he will help effectively communicate and educate constituents about the Clubs’ mission.

Scott Centrella, President, BGCS Board of Directors, said, “We welcome Jayar to our Board of Directors and know that his talents and skills will be an asset to our organization and the youth and families we serve! We appreciate his commitment and the ongoing commitment of WWE to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.”

“I am proud to join an organization that is incredibly dedicated to giving back to our local youth in Stamford,” said Donlan. “The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford’s mission aligns closely with WWE’s commitment to the community and I am thrilled to join the Club’s Board of Directors.”

Prior to joining WWE, Donlan was Vice President of Analytics at MXM Social and served as a member of the MXM Social Leadership team, helping shape strategy for a number of entertainment and sports clients, including NBC, Disney and Sony.

Donlan graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and currently resides in Norwalk, Conn., with his wife and son.
