An estimated 1 million men and women are expected to leave the military and transition to the civilian workforce in the next four years. Without effective employment transition assistance, many of these former military members could join the ranks of more than 495,000 unemployed veterans (Bureau of Labor Statistics, March 2016).

Hire Heroes USA has built a national reputation of excellence for its success helping U.S. military members, veterans and their spouses find civilian employment. The hallmark of the program is a personalized approach where each client is paired with a Transition Specialist to:

  • Create a civilian resume that effectively highlights skills and achievements
  • Translate military experience into civilian terminology
  • Learn effective job search, networking and interviewing techniques
  • Get connected with companies who want to hire veterans

Hire Heroes USA is recognized as a best-in-class veteran service organization by the Call of Duty Endowment, the George W. Bush Institute and the USO.   

Mission: 
Hire Heroes USA empowers U.S. military members, veterans and military spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce through free, individualized career coaching programs.
Collaboration with WWE: 
To support Hire Heroes USA’s mission, WWE will make a donation and utilize all its assets, including TV broadcasts, live events, digital and social media to generate awareness and raise funds. In addition, Hire Heroes USA will partner with WWE to implement a veterans hiring initiative and enhance WWE’s military hiring practices. Our partnership, which will expand WWE’s commitment to the military through the support of programs that create job opportunities for U.S. military veterans and their spouses, was launched during the 10th anniversary of WWE Tribute to the Troops. “WWE has a clear commitment to supporting the US military and the top organizations that help military veterans and their families,” said Brian Stann, President and CEO of Hire Heroes USA. “Like us, WWE follows verbal support with action, making a tangible difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much in defense of this nation.
