Mission:
The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.
Collaboration with WWE:
WWE and the USO have been partnering over the past 15 years to bring entertainment for the troops. After 9/11, WWE provided the pay-per-view events for those troops who were deployed to Fort Myer for the security mission at the Pentagon. WWE also provides tickets to wounded, ill and injured to attend the WWE matches held locally at the Verizon Center in DC and 1st Mariner Arena in Maryland. WWE also participates in our USO Celebrity Handshake tours here in the Washington/Baltimore area visiting the troops at various bases as well as our warriors who are in the hospital.
